So I was going to upgrade my PC, and eventually get a new laptop,… but…rather than do both I figured i’d save time and money and just get a killer laptop, future-proof what I need, and will need, and make it so I can just connect it to any TV or Monitor in the house. So here it is with a lil cash back help from our Scion Dealership
And for a few of you, yes I know it’s not an ASUS, or insert brand here, but I did some homework and its ridiculously comparable(and has a better screen). And the ASUS i was looking at is sold out….AREA WIDE, I had them check the entire warehouse and area over their shoulder, no dice!
So long story short, this thing should kick CS5 on its ass, multi-task very well, and stuff have room for some 3D programs down the road, oh…itll play games too hehe.

Okay, not really in the news, but still cool, and yes i’ll update about the Pittsburgh Comic Con,…just later.
Two Words: Will Vinton.
The Art Institute of Tampa had a gallery opening a couple days ago that is still going on that has a lot of works by Will Vinton. You may or may not know the name, but if you don’t, let me throw a few names you might know your way: California Raisins, The Noid, M&M’s. Do those look familiar? They should, Will Vinton is a pioneer in the realm of stop motion animation, specifically Claymation. Remember those Claymation Christmas specials years ago? That was him too. All I have to say is the man has an impressive background, and when he did a small lecture and then attended and spoke at the gallery open, he’s incredible. A very down to earth guy, very real, very personable. He talked about the industry, process, ideas, and the importance of a good demo reel.
So thank you Will Vinton for giving me a peek behind the scenes and into your world.
p.s. You have an awesome mustache.
