So what exactly is a Spudmunkey you may ask? Well back in college I was trying to come up with something I thought that would work as not only a plush toy, but a good logo with a catchy wierd name. Since I have an affinity for our simian brethren, the Spudmunkey concept was born, or should I say, SpudmOnkey.
Alas, with the usual joys of the internet came the realization that someone else out there snatching up the domain with monkey spelled with an “O”. Not that it’s used for anything, just sittin’ around waiting to be overpriced to a wary interested party. So I grabbed the spudmunkey.com site up and hence began my journey.
A lot of things have changed on the site in the last few years, specifically I’ve gotten a little less “sucky” at drawing. You’d be amazed at what you do that impresses you at one moment in time, and look back on years later, only to be amazed at how you ever thought that it was really that good to begin with. I guess that’s just what drives people, and me to keep moving forward, and never giving up. I mean it’s been over 10 years with this site so far, and I think I’ll always give this site love no matter what happens…
