-UPCOMING CON:
EXP CON: October 8th to 10th http://www.expcon.org/
EXP Convention is a weekend long all ages event to be held at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village and St. Johns County Convention Center. The main purpose of EXP Con is to celebrate and promote American and Japanese video gaming, Japanese animation also known as anime, manga which are Japanese graphic novels, cosplay which is the act of creating and modeling costumes based on characters from Japanese and American media, and the melding of Japanese and American pop-culture.
-THEN SOME:
Oh annnnd…i’m selling off my comic collection…over on craiglist. I need the space and well…the money…
SOOOOOOO if your interested hit me up!

Well MegaCon is over and I’d have to say it was a great experience doing a larger venue for the first time. I actually learned a lot, some by accident. Like my smaller 4 x 6 prints seem to be way more popular than my larger 8 1/2 x 11 format, although I actualy sold a couple 16 x 20′s too.
All in all i do miss the quaintness and smaller venue of Pittsburgh, ie: friends, familiar setting, visiting family, BUT I do seem to do beter financially with a larer venue(duh i know).
I’m going to knock a couple more prints out for next month and see if I can’t take what I’ve learned and make a better go of it in Pittsburgh.
If you’re goin’, myself and Mr. Chris Brown will be in the same spot between Mikey Wood of
Spacemonkey Comics and Brett Pinson of Boomtown Comics, look for us!
